Principles of our work

The following principles apply to our work assignments:

  • The times we can provide assistance are adapted to the needs of the family, wherever possible.
  • The family helper works from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at the standard rate. Of course, we can also provide assistance in the evening, at night and on weekends at special rates.
  • Usually, our helpers work for at least two hours at a time.
  • All our helpers are sworn to absolute discretion.
  • Our area of operation is the canton of Zug.
  • We pay particular attention to ensure that the same person assists you each time.

Our operational managers are happy to advise you in those aspects.

Please note

For organisational reasons, we cannot guarantee that the same person can always work on longer-term or recurring cases. As well as in cases of emergency, the operational managers may have to reassign our helpers.

Our helpers have the right to join the family to share meals they have prepared.

We pay particular attention to ensure that the same person assists you each time.

Foto

Today, on the Day of Caring for and Supporting Relatives, we honour the immense dedication of those who provide long-term care for their loved ones, often with great personal commitment. The Family Assistance of Canton Zug, along with other Zug-based organisations, highlight in a joint news article their support for caregiving relatives, offering relief in challenging times—be it through household help, shopping assistance, or caregiving support. A heartfelt thank you to all relatives for their invaluable contribution!
